A C130 airplane with the Georgia Air National Guard 165th Airlift Wing flies over the Brunswick campus of the Southeast Georgia Health System Friday as part of the America Strong Flyover. The plane flew over nine hospitals from Savannah to Albany in an effort to show support to medical workers on the front lines during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Several health system employees and area residents gathered in the parking lot of the Outpatient Care Center to witness the event. Health system employees acknowledged it was nice for the health system and its team members to be honored. “Our staff is working round the clock to make sure the community stays safe,” said Marla Moore, an executive assistant in the Southeast Georgia Health System Marketing Department. Below, SGHS personnel watch the flyover.
