College of Coastal Georgia’s volleyball team advanced to the finals of The Sun Conference tournament Friday with a 3-1 win over Southeastern University.

The Mariners rallied from losing the first set 22-25 to take the next three sets 27-25, 25-11 and 25-21. The win sets up a match between the No. 3 seed Coastal and No. 1 seed Webber International for the league title at 2 p.m. Saturday in Babson Park, Fla.

Addie Pedraza led the Mariners’ attack with 19 kills. Sam Kepler totaled 14 kills off the bench with Kyra White adding 13 kills and Alexis Downey contributing 10 kills.

Ashley Kot set up the attack with 57 assists. Downey added two service aces with Kepler and Yorelis Rios Gonzalez each totaling one ace.

Rios Gonzalez led Coastal’s defensive effort with 38 digs. Kot chipped in 17 digs, and Hannah Mitchell added 11.
