College of Coastal Georgia’s volleyball team fell 3-0 on Wednesday at NCAA Division II foe Valdosta State. The Mariners lost 19-25, 11-25 and 23-25.

Azure Werner and Sam Kepler led Coastal with nine kills each while Ashley Kot set up the Mariners’ attack with 34 assists. Yorelis Rios Gonzalez led the defensive effort with 10 digs.

The Mariners return home Saturday to begin Sun Conference play against Keiser University at 2 p.m. at Howard Coffin Gym.
