Camden County picked up its first road win and its third victory of the season as the Wildcats defeated Richmond Hill 33-6 on Friday.

Richmond Hill scored first on a field goal late in the first quarter to make it 3-0.

Camden answered with a trick play as Jalen Davis took a fake punt 47 yards for a touchdown to make it 7-3.

Richmond Hill added another field goal, but that is as close as the home Wildcats would get.

Camden quarterback Logan Watson hit Logan Berryhill for a 28-yard touchdown to push the lead to 13-6 with less than six to play in the second quarter.

The score remained that way until Camden took advantage of a Richmond Hill mistake. Cade Loden recovered a stray lateral from Richmond Hill and returned it 50 yards to make it 19-6 with seven to play in the third quarter.

It stayed a two-possession game until Camden broke it open with two late touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

Caleb Keaton scored on a 36-yard touchdown with seven minutes to play in the game and Daryl Williams added a 62-yard score for the final result.

Camden (3-1) is back on the road next week, traveling to Glynn County Stadium to play Brunswick High (1-2). The Pirates were off this week.
