Talk about fun evenings. Last week, we got to enjoy a fabulous performance of “Grease” by the Glynn Academy Players. It was only our second visit to the Glynn Academy Auditorium, but it sure won’t be our last.

It was an amazing show. These kids are so very talented. But the best part was the overall vibe of fun, camaraderie and obvious enjoyment of each other that the entire cast exhibited, both during and after the show. This was about as diverse and different a group of people as you could find, and yet they were so engaged with each other, so united and mutually supportive.

Can’t wait until next season.

Fire gutted a vacant house shortly before 11 a.m. Friday, leaving fire crews working hard through noon to extinguish the flames and make sure they did not spread to nearby trees or the neighboring business.

This past week, I received a telephonic Robo Call from someone stating he represented the Glynn County Republican Party. There surely must be a parallel universe with a similar name since that call was nothing but false accusations and lies about ESPLOST 3.
