Linda Beth (Staley) Dubs, born March 23, 1942, in Brunswick, Ga., to Lillian and Burgay Staley, passed away Aug. 2, 2018, at age 76, in Jacksonville, Fla.

She was a 1960 graduate of Glynn Academy and attended the University of Georgia where she was a member of the Tri-Delta Sorority. Linda loved her Georgia Bulldogs. She enjoyed her career as an interior designer, and she served for over 40 years on the board of The Colony Cove Civic Association. Linda loved playing bridge, entertaining at home and traveling with her husband and friends.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Ronald Clarence Dubs, also from Brunswick. She is survived also by her daughter,Terri Lyn (Dubs) DeGross and her husband, John, of Apopka, Fla. She has two grandchildren, Austin and Zachary DeGross. She is also survived by her sister, Sharon Staley; brother, Hank Staley and his wife, Dell Staley. Hank and Dell have two children, Linda’s niece, Jessie Staley and nephew, Burgay Staley. Other survivors include a host of beloved cousins and friends.

A celebration of life event is being planned for some time in September.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Linda’s name to the American Cancer Society.

Linda Chamberlain (nee Preston), of Brunswick, Ga., passed away peacefully on Aug. 10 with her husband by her side. She was 73.
