Leone Hatfield Jones, 64, of Brunswick, passed away Sept. 13, 2017, in Douglas, Ga.

Mrs. Jones was born Feb. 18, 1953, in Norfolk, Va., to Maurice Wayne “Hurd” Hatfield and Dona Leone Browne Hatfield. She had lived in Brunswick most of her life and was a registered nurse with Memorial Health in Savannah, a member of Taylors United Methodist Church and a volunteer at “The Well.”

Survivors include her daughters, Sara Seacrest Hurst of Marion, Ind., and Emily Bazemore (Lee), of Blackshear, Ga.; stepsons, Dow Jones (Robin) of Marion, Ark., and Bryan Jones of Brunswick; a sister, Diane Hughes (Terry) of Brunswick; nine grandchildren, J.R. Hurst, Elizabeth, David, and Madison Bazemore, Hartlie, Reagan, Grace and Evelyn Jones and Anthony Jones Jr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Eryanna Jones; and her husband, Raymond Dow Jones.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, at Taylors United Methodist Church, burial will follow in the church cemetery.

A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at Taylors United Methodist Church.
