Idell Young Rozier, 80, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018, at the SGHS Brunswick Campus. She was a native and lifelong resident of McIntosh County and a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and a member of Darien Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Rozier.

Survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law, Ruby and Brian Thornton of Townsend and Barbara and Ty Poppell of Darien; sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Teri Rozier of Hortense, and Gordon and Sherbia Rozier of Darien; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 9 at 2 p.m. at Darien Church of God with Rev. Tommy Whaley and Rev. Danny Stilwell officiating. Burial will follow in Plum Orchard Cemetery.
