DeVante De’Shawn D’Angelo Taylor, of Carneghan, died Wednesday at Southeast Georgia Health System.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Carneghan Emanuel Baptist Church, with burial to follow in King Cemetery.

The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church.

He is survived by his mother, Shanwua Taylor; siblings, Judon Walthour, Jaquan Walthour and Keonna Smith; grandmother, Pamela Taylor; grandfather, Tilmon Maxwell; great-grandparents, Lonnie Taylor and Ruben (Alice) Taylor; and other relatives.

He was a member of Carneghan Emanuel Baptist Church, and a 2014 graduate of McIntosh County Academy.

Darien Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
