Barbara Pritchard Gabelman, 72, of Brunswick, passed away Feb. 3, 2019, at her residence.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019, at Chapman Funeral Chapel.

Survivors include her children, Daniel Gabelman (DeeDee), of Brunswick, Diane Bidgood (Dean), of Hillsboro, N.C., Janet Lake (James). of Gainesville, Fla., and Michael Gabelman (Charlene), of Nashville, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and her beloved dogs, Oreo and Jake. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Fred Bruce Gabelman.

Mrs. Gabelman was born Jan. 2, 1947, in Miami, Fla., to James Wesley Pritchard and Mary Margaret Woodside Pritchard. Coming from Miami Fla., she had lived in Brunswick for the past 10 years. She was retired from the Social Security Administration, and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Brunswick.

Danny Charles Lewis, 66, of Brunswick, died due to complications from hepatic encephalopathy Saturday, Feb, 9, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family.
