Andrew Philip MacLeod, 65, of Brunswick, Ga., passed away on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2018. He was accompanied by his two children at his time of passing.

Andy was born in Stafford, United Kingdom, on July 16, 1953, to parents Henry and Betty MacLeod. He received his Bachelor’s of Mechanical Engineering from Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Andy was married to the late Sally Cicely MacLeod. Sally passed away six months ago on May 15, 2018, at her home. She was born in Zambia, Africa, to John and Clare Hurn. Sally received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from North Lothian College of Nursing in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Andy and Sally met each other while living in Edinburgh; it was very much love at first sight. They married on May 5, 1979, and shared a wonderful 39 years together. They were dedicated and loving parents to their two children, and doting grandparents to their three grandchildren.

Survivors include their son, Iain MacLeod and his wife, Erin MacLeod; daughter, Karen MacLeod and her fiance, Kirk Ritter; their grandchildren Evan and Claire MacLeod (born to Iain & Erin) and Andrew Ritter (born to Karen & Kirk). Andy is survived by his sister, Rosemary Forbes, of Glasgow; and Sally is survived by her sister, Susan McFarlane, of Botswana, Africa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.

A private service for the MacLeods will be held at a later time.
