ATLANTA (AP) — Police say three women have been shot after a fight broke out between two performers at an Atlanta party.

Police spokeswoman Officer Lisa Bender says officers received a call about the shooting Saturday night and found two teenagers in the building when they arrived.

Bender says an 18-year-old woman was shot in the foot and a 17-year-old girl reported that a bullet grazed her foot. A 26-year-old woman was shot in the hip but ran away to escape the gunfire. News outlets report that all three victims were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Bender says the incident started as a dispute between two artists who were performing onstage. Witnesses told officials two people arrived at the location in a car. Officials say they opened fire and fled.

An investigation is ongoing.
