ATLANTA (AP) — Atlanta police have released body camera video that shows an officer handling a shooting victim's wallet just before about $500 disappeared from it.

WXIA-TV reports the video was released this week following its investigation into Officer Keisha Richburg, who was fired Monday.

Officers responding to a shooting last month found Jamel Harris shot in the head. The video shows that an emergency responder at the scene gave the stuffed wallet and a cellphone to Richburg. She's then seen getting into and out of her patrol car, leaving it unlocked with the windows down. Harris later died and his wallet was found to be empty.

The department also released its investigation into the cash, which concluded Richburg violated the department's policy about recovered property. It didn't confirm she took the money.
