People affiliated with religious institutions are invited to join Brunswick Police Department officials Thursday at Brunswick High for the Securing Houses of Worship Symposium. The event begins at 6 p.m. in the auditorium at the school at 3885 Altama Ave.

The event is hosted by the city’s police department in collaboration with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the Glynn County District Attorney’s Office, the county sheriff’s office, the county police department and College of Coastal Georgia Police Department.
