Hurricane Michael has remained a Category 1 Hurricane as of 11 p.m. as it travels through southwestern Georgia on a northeastern track toward central Georgia.

A tropical storm warning remains in effect for Glynn County. According to the National Weather Service in Jacksonville, the Golden Isles will feel the worst conditions from the storm until about 3 a.m., with conditions gradually improving closer to dawn as the storm continues its track into the Carolinas.

According to Georgia Power’s outage map, there are four current power outages in Glynn County. One is located in the County Club Estates area affecting more than 92 customers. Another is located in the Yarnell Road area and is affecting 91 customers. An outage affecting five customers is listed in the area of Patton Drive while an outage affecting less than five customers has also been reported around Musgrove Plantation Drive on St. Simons Island.
