Grandparent Connection to host dinner, info session

Coastal Coalition for Children’s Grandparent Connection program will host a “Grand Family” dinner Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 1400 Norwich Street in Brunswick.

Grandparents who are raising their grandchildren are invited to attend, to learn more about Grandparent Connection and the services the program provides.

The event is sponsored by the Brunswick Rotary Club and will include a free spaghetti dinner, door prizes and gift bags.

After the dinner, there will be breakout sessions to discuss issues grandparents face when raising their grandchildren, including school support, legal issues and health needs.

Crafts and activities will be available for grandchildren.
