School-supply drive on tap

The Coastal Coalition for Children is partnering with Bailey’s Health and Fitness gyms to collect school supplies for families with limited incomes.

Through Aug. 17, the Brunswick Bailey’s gym location will have donation boxes where community members can donate school supplies, including pencils, markers, pens, notebooks, glue and other items on back-to-school supply lists.

The Coastal Coalition for Children is a Brunswick-based nonprofit that serves families in Glynn and McIntosh counties.

Donations for the school supply drive can be made at all Bailey’s Health and Fitness Centers. The local gym is in Brunswick at 57 Glynn Plaza.
