The Glynn County Board of Elections met Tuesday to talk about a number of subjects, among them were changes to polling place locations for the upcoming primary and general election.

Due to renovations, a polling place at St. William Catholic Church on St. Simons Island will move to Glynn County Fire Station No. 2, 1929 Demere Road, also on the island. The polling place in Glyndale Elementary School will be moved to Blythe Island Baptist Church, 170 Cut-Off Road.

The polling place at Abundant Life Fellowship will be moved to the Chapel, 114 Harris Farm Road, and the one at Burroughs-Molette Elementary School will move to Zion Baptist Church, 1611 G St. in Brunswick.

Partisan candidate qualification begins March 5 and ends March 9. Election day for primaries is May 22. Election day for the general elections is Nov. 6. The last day a person can register to vote in the primary is April 23, and Oct. 9 for the general election.
