The Glynn County Commission held a special called meeting Thursday to discuss a personnel issue in closed executive session.

When they emerged less than an hour later, commissioners unanimously voted to approve the payment of $14,439.96 in back wages to a former administrative technician in the county’s property appraiser’s office.

The dollar amount was determined by the U.S. Department of Labor Wage & Hour Division.
