system’s Camden hospital

The Southeast Georgia Health System recently welcomed orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Christopher Yonz with Summit Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Surgery, to the Camden hospital’s medical staff.

Yonz earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency and sports medicine fellowship at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. Prior to joining the Health System, Yonz graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia.

During his sports medicine fellowship, he had the unique opportunity to provide medical care to multiple, high level Division I athletes, who now play professionally and an Olympian.

WOW Mobile Vehicle offers mammograms

Southeast Georgia Health System is pleased to provide access to quality mammography in Glynn County and rural areas of Southeast Georgia with its Wellness on Wheels (WOW) mobile health vehicle.

All mammograms require a physician’s order; most insurances are accepted and financial assistance is available to patients who qualify. For more information about low or no-cost mammograms for uninsured or low-income persons, call 912-466-5235.

The WOW will provide mammograms at the following locations during the month of September:
