Abysinia Baptist Church, 2501 Albany Street, Brunswick, will host a 15th annual pastor’s anniversary at 11 a.m. Feb. 18. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Johny Gipson of Waycross. Dinner will be served and all are welcome.

College Place United Methodist Church, 3890 Altama Ave., Brunswick, will host six weeks of line dancing classes from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. beginning Monday in the Christian Life Center. Christ Church Frederica, 6329 Frederica Road, St. Simons Island, will host a workshop titled “A Question of Identity: How Answering the Question of ‘Who Am I?’ Brings Power, Purpose, and Peace Into Our Lives,” at 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 10 at the church. Epworth by the Sea, 100 Arthur J. Moore Drive, St. Simons Island, will host retired Methodist minister and Wesley Scholar, the Rev. Dave Hanson’s program, “Walk With Wesley” from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursdays in the Moore Methodist Museum. Hanson will take an in-depth look at the lives of John and Charles Wesley while they were on St. Simons Island in 1736. Free to the public.

Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1010 Old Jesup, Brunswick, will celebrate its 50th anniversary at 10 a.m. Feb. 25. There will be homecoming services at 10:30 a.m. with singing and preaching. All are welcome.

Haven Sheffield United Methodist Church, 7640 New Jesup Hwy, Brunswick, will host its annual black history program at 3 p.m. Feb. 25. The speaker will be Gisha Dudley of Grace United Methodist Church of Brunswick.

Holy Zion Outreach Ministries, 1803 G Street, Brunswick, will host an appreciation day for Brother Horace Jones beginning at 5 p.m. Sunday. Several musical guests will make an appearance. Admission is free.

The Knights of Columbus will host its 86th annual oyster roast beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday at 4299 U.S. Hwy 17 in Brunswick. Tickets buy all you can eat oysters. Jerusalem Baptist Church, 916 Pennick Road, Brunswick, will celebrate its spiritual hymn and spiritual songs service at 3 p.m. Feb. 25.

New Hope Untied Methodist Church, 1323 Emanuel Church Road, Brunswick, will hold its annual Black History program at 4 p.m. Sunday at the church. The guest speaker will be the Rev. James Payne of Zion Sister Missionary Baptist Church of Kingsland.

Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 1200 Egmont Street, Brunswick, will hold a Black History Month program at 11 a.m. each Sunday throughout the month of February. Each service will have a speaker and a theme. The church’s pastor is the Rev. T.A. Rhodes Sr.

St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 1120 Newcastle Street, Brunswick, hosts its nondenominational crafters guild from 6-9 p.m. Tuesdays in the St. Joseph Room in the church parish hall. No fees. Everyone is welcome. All types of crafts and ideas area shared. The guild provides hats for preemies and cancer patients, along with leg warmers and lap rugs for nursing homes. Details: 265-6816.

The St. Simons Island Community Church, 2700 Frederica Road, St Simons Island, will host Ruth Graham, the daughter of evangelist Billy Graham, at multiple services from Sunday to Wednesday. She will speak at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday at the church’s morning services. She will speak to Beloved, a group of single moms, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Zion Rock Missionary Baptist Church, 3200 Gordon St, Brunswick, will host its Black History Program at 11 a.m. Feb. 25 at the church. The guest speaker will be Dr. Marty Simmons. Lunch will be served immediately after service. The church will also hold its Annual Revival beginning at 7:30 p.m. nightly Feb. 28 to March 2. The guest evangelist will be Dr. Quan Glover of Young Zion M.B. Church St. Marys.
