Santa comes to the pier
Hundreds crowded onto the St. Simons Island pier Saturday to greet Santa as he arrived on a Brunswick Bar Pilots boat. The pilot boat rounded the south tip of the island about 2 p.m. and delivered Santa Claus who climbed the ladder to greet the crowd. He posed for some on the pier before walking to a red wooden sleigh for more photos.
