Glynn Academy students in Susan McLemore’s Writers Workshop recently met in the fellowship hall of First United Methodist Church see a presentation by Devy Eyler author of the memoir, “No, Mama, I Didn’t Die.”

Eyeler’s memoir traces her life story from the time she was a baby, stolen by the notorious Georgia Tan and sold to adoptive parents. Tan stole thousands of children over more than two decades in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s, often murdering those who were not suitable to be sold.
