At a recent meeting, the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), Marshes of Glynn Chapter presented the Flag Retirement Certificate to the Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 9, for its retirement of American flags. Michael Johns accepted the certificate on behalf of the squadron, which was presented by SAR member J. Steven Hinson Sr. Hinson is pictured, left, with Johns.
