Guntis Makstenieks, a licensed pilot who joined the Brunswick Senior Squadron last year, recently received his Civil Air Patrol wings.
As 2nd lieutenant, he will serve the Squadron on Sundown Patrols while adhering to the standards set by the U.S. Air Force. He is also a lieutenant with the Glynn County Fire Dept. where he serves as a paramedic.
