Georgia Tau Alpha Delta Kappa members recently worked on the USO Book Altruism Project for Alpha Delta Kappa Fun Day 2017. Their efforts yielded donations of more than 1,100 children’s books from sisters all over Georgia, with a handmade bookmark placed in each. Servicemen and women read a book aloud for a video to be presented to their child. The book/bookmark is presented to the child through the United for Reading Program. This helps the parent and child stay connected during the time of separation for military service.
