Keep Golden Isles Beautiful, UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant are installing 17 receptacles in Brunswick and Glynn County as part of its Georgia’s Coast is Not an Astray initiative.

The University of Georgia Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant, Keep Golden Isles Beautiful, Keep Liberty Beautiful, Keep Savannah Beautiful, Keep McIntosh Beautiful, Keep Camden Beautiful, Tybee Clean Beach Volunteers, the City of Tybee Island, Ft. McAllister State Park and Crooked River State Park are utilizing a $15,000 Keep America Beautiful cigarette litter prevention program grant to place 81 cigarette waste receptacles near coastal Georgia water bodies and launch a targeted regional educational outreach initiative.
