Rep. Buddy Carter recently addressed a crowd of about 50 at the Brunswick Exchange Club regarding the 2020 election and the start of a new legislative session. Carter, a four-term Republican, spoke at length about a lack of bipartisanship in the House chamber, infrastructure spending proposals and the lack of a firm security policy at the border.

As a man stalled for time with tired jokes at the podium inside, a white Ford Interceptor moved with authority down Emory Dawson Road and into the parking lot outside the Exchange Club of Brunswick at 12:39 p.m. Tuesday.
