Abundant Faith Church of God in Christ, 1005 Franklin St., Darien, will celebrate the Rev. Larry and Patricia Rogers’ 15th year ministry anniversary at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 4:15 p.m. Nov. 18. Guest speakers will be the Rev. Jeffery Muchison of Calvary Christian Center in Waverly on Friday. It will be the Rev. G. Bobby Hall of Greater Temple Church of God in Christ in Brunswick Nov. 18.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3631 Community Road, Brunswick, will host a concert featuring the Lawson String Ensemble of Jacksonville, at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at the church. It is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served afterward with an opportunity to meet the musicians.

College Place United Methodist Church, 3890 Altama Ave., Brunswick, will host six weeks of beginners’ line dancing classes from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Mondays at the Christian Life Center of the church. Grace United Methodist Church, 1711 Albany St., Brunswick, will celebrate its 150th anniversary at church worship hour at 11 a.m. Sunday.

First African African Baptist Church, 1416 Amherst St., Brunswick, will celebrate Women’s Day at 11 a.m. Nov. 18. Tawanda Stockton of Thomson and member of Vanderhost CME Church will speak.

First Baptist Church of Brunswick will host its Legacy Sunday at 10 a.m. Nov. 18. It will be the first service in the newly remodeled sanctuary. The Rev. Chris Winford will offer a re-dedication service for the sanctuary and the congregants.

Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 916 Pennick Road, Brunswick, will hold services celebrating its 144th anniversary at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday to Friday. It will culminate at 3 p.m. Nov. 18. Moore Methodist Museum, 100 Arthur J. Moor Drive, St. Simons Island, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. There is a free lecture at 2 p.m. every Thursday, detailing John Wesley’s time on St. Simons Island. The lecture is given by Epworth By the Sea’s historian the Rev. Dave Hanson.

St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 1120 Newcastle Street, Brunswick, hosts its nondenominational crafters guild from 6-9 p.m. Tuesdays in the St. Joseph Room in the church parish hall. No fees. Everyone is welcome. All types of crafts and ideas area shared. The guild provides hats for preemies and cancer patients, along with leg warmers and lap rugs for nursing homes. Union Missionary Baptist Church, 1124 Rosa Jenkins Road SW., Townsend, will hold a Women in the Word Conference at be held at 3 p.m. Sunday. The musical guest will be His Word Gospelettes.

Zion Rock Missionary Baptist Church celebrates Men’s Day at 11 a.m. Nov. 18. The speaker will be Edward Bostic, deacon.

Tabernacle Christian Church, 139 Dees Drive, Brunswick, will host The Georgians Quartet from Valdosta, at 7 p.m. Nov. 17. A love offering will be collected.

Brunswick Christian Church, 1940 Jesup Road, Brunswick, will host the Dixie Melody Boys in concert at 7 p.m. Nov. 30.
