The College of Coastal Georgia will host Karen Hambright, professor of psychology, for its Coastal Scholar series. She will present from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in the Stembler thetre at the college. The Friends of Historic Jekyll Island will host a presentation entitled “Christophe DuBignon: His Role in the American Revolution and British Revenge” by Peter Dillon at 6:30 p.m. at the Jekyll Island Presbyterian Church. Refreshments will follow the program. It is free and open to the public.

The Coastal Photographer’s Guild will host its regular meeting at 7 p.m. at Glynn Visual Arts, 106 Island Drive, St. Simons Island. The main presenter will be Jaclyn Luckstone who will discuss iPhone tips and tricks. The guild is also co-sponsoring an exhibit, “The Beaches to Barrier Islands,” featuring more than 40 works by Guild members. The Lower Altamaha Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at Fort King George Historical Site Visitor’s Center. Relay for Life of Glynn County will host its annual event titled, “United We Stand Against Cancer” from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. April 20 at Golden Isles Church of God, 200 Boswell Lane, Brunswick. Various events and activities will take place in accordance with the event.
