A wildlife show with Michael Rossi will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Brunswick-Glynn County Library, 208 Gloucester St., Brunswick. There will be live animals. Children ages 3 to 12 are welcome.

The Fantasy Coloring Club for Adults will meet from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the St. Simons Island Library, 530A Beachview Dr., St. Simons Island. It is open to participants on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month

Thursday, June 14

The Penguin Project will present “Peter Pan Jr.,” featuring a cast of special needs performers. The show will be staged at 7 p.m. June 14, 15, 16 and at 3 p.m. June 17. All shows will be held at the Ritz Theatre, 1530 Newcastle St., Brunswick.

Musician Eric Wendorf will take children on a musical tour of instruments and sounds from around the world. Children ages 5 to 12 are welcome to participate. The event will be at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Simons Island Library. 

Friday, June 15

Baby Storytime will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Brunswick-Glynn County Library, 208 Gloucester St., Brunswick. It is open for children up to 2 years old.

Brunswick Elks Lodge will host a fish fry from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the lodge at 1509 Union St., Brunswick. The cost is $8 for the meal. The group also hosts bingo at 6:45 p.m. every Tuesday at the lodge.

Coastal Wildscapes will host a lunch and learn program featuring birds of prey from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalists of Coastal Georgia, 1710 Gloucester St., Brunswick. The St. Marys Little Theatre will host auditions for its season opener “An Evening with the Stars” from 10 a.m. to noon at Theatre by the Trax, 1000 Osborne St., St. Marys. Local watercolor artist Warren Barber will host an exhibit from 3 to 7 p.m. at Moondoggy’s Pizza and Pub, 36 Canal Road, Brunswick. A majority of the proceeds will go to a child battling cancer in Florida.

Monday, June 18

The Book to Movie Discussion Group will meet at 2 p.m. at the St. Simons Island Library, 530A Beachview Dr., St. Simons Island. During this series, participants will read, discuss and then view the movie of three different Sinclair Lewis stories. Each of the books are discussed on Monday followed by the movie on Wednesday. Tuesday, June 19

Fish n’ Ships featuring puppeteer Evy Wright will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Brunswick-Glynn County Library, 208 Gloucester St., Brunswick. Children ages 3 to 9 are welcome.

An Evening with Singer and Songwriter Katie Pinto will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Brunswick-Glynn County Library, 208 Gloucester St., Brunswick. It is open to teens and adults.

Hattie’s Book Club will meet at 6:15 p.m. at the Brunswick-Glynn County Library, 208 Gloucester St., Brunswick. The book this month is “The Number One Ladies Detective Agency” by Alexander McCall Smith. Call the library at 912-279-3740 for future titles.

The Golden Isles division of the Savannah Junior League is currently holding a membership drive. Several events will take place throughout the month. A happy hour event is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. at Marshside Grill, 1200 Glynn Ave., in Brunswick.

Wednesday, June 20

The Brunswick Glynn County Council on Disabilities will hold its monthly meeting at 10 a.m. on the second floor of the Old City Hall, 1229 Newcastle St., Brunswick. Meetings address issues of interest to people with disabilities, their families and disability related service and support providers.

Hula Hooping — Rock Your Body will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Simons Island Library, 530A Beachview Dr., St. Simons Island. Children under 6 must have close adult supervision.
