The St. Simons Island Literary Guild’s book store will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It is located in the Casino on St. Simons Island.

The Glynn County Republican Party will host a breakfast and quarterly meeting at 9 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Brunswick, 1400 Norwich St., Brunswick. The speaker will be Sen. Josh McKoon, executive director of the Faith and Freedom Coalition of Georgia. The cost is $10 per person. It will also serve as a membership drive. The Coastal Georgia Historical Society will host Lynne Olson who will present a a program titled “Citizens of London: The Americans Who Helped Britain Survive its Darkest Hour.” It will be held in conjunction with the annual membership meeting which begins at 3 p.m. at The Cloister on Sea Island.
