Notice Of Seizure Of Personal Property Valued At $25,000.00 Or Less Pursuant To O.C.G.A. 16-13-49 and O.C.G.A. 9-16-11 To: Patrick Lamar Fairell AND ALL OWNERS OR INTEREST HOLDERS OF THE SEIZED PROPERTY TAKE NOTICE that on November 16, 2017, law enforcement officers of the Glynn Brunswick Narcotics Enforcement Team seized the following property: $1,347.00 in United States Currency This property was seized from the location of: 3602 Norwich Street, Brunswick, Glynn County, Georgia, during the execution of a search warrant. An amount of cocaine and marijuana was located along evidence of distribution of narcotics and United States Currency. The defendant property was directly or indirectly used or intended for use to facilitate a violation of 0.C.G.A. 16-13-30 and/or is proceeds derived or realized therefrom and/or was found in close proximity to methamphetamine and/or marijuana and/or cocaine and/or other property which is subject to forfeiture pursuant to the provisions of 0.C.G.A. 16-13-49 and 0.C.G.A. 9-16-1 et seq. Further, the said "seized property" was possessed and/or used and/or available for use to facilitate a violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act. AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE, the owner or interest holder of such property has 30 days within which a claim must be served on the state attorney (Office of the District Attorney) at the address listed at the bottom of this notice by certified mail or statutory overnight delivery, return receipt requested, and such claim shall be signed by the owner or interest holder and shall provide: (A) The name of the claimant; (B) The address at which the claimant resides; (C) A description of the claimant's interest in the property; (D) A description of the circumstances of the claimant's obtaining an interest in the property and, to the best of the claimant's knowledge, the date the claimant obtained the interest and the name of the person or entity that transferred the interest to the claimant; (E) The nature of the relationship between the claimant and the person who possessed the property at the time of the seizure; (F) A copy of any documentation in the claimant's possession supporting his or her claim; and (G) Any additional facts supporting his or her claim.
