GEORGIA, GLYNN COUNTY. NOTICE OF SALE UNDER POWER Under and by virtue of the power of sale contained in that certain Deed to Secure Debt hereafter described, and because of the default in the payment of the indebtedness secured by a Deed to Secure Debt executed by Jerry M. Wilson secured by said a Deed to Secure Debt, executed on September 30, 1997, and recorded on October 30, 1997, in the office of the Clerk of Superior Court, Glynn County, Georgia, in Book 0320, Page 295, said a Deed to Secure Debt having been given to secure a Promissory Note of even date, in the original principal amount of Twenty Thousand Dollars and 00/100 ($20,000.00), there will be sold by the undersigned at public outcry, before the Courthouse door in Brunswick, Glynn County, Georgia, on the first Tuesday in March 2020, to-wit: March 3, 2020, between the legal hours of sale, to the highest bidder for cash, the following described property, to-wit: All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the 27th G.M.D. of the County of Glynn and State of Georgia, and being more particularly described as all of Lots 1 and 2 of Myers Hill Acres, Phase I, according to the map and plan thereof made by Hugh H. Thomas, Georgia Registered Land Surveyor Number 1395, dated May 2, 1990, and recorded in Plat Drawer 20, as Map No. 649, in the Clerk's Office of the Superior Court of Glynn County, Georgia, entitled "Myers Hill Acres," and being part of the property conveyed by Billy Joe Alexander and Kathy J. Alexander to C.K. Murray and P.H. Murray by Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure dated April 17, 1997, and recorded in Deed Book 231, Folio 76, records of the Clerk of Superior Court of Glynn County, Georgia. Parcel #03-13783 The debt secured by said Deed to Secure Debt and Note having been and is hereby declared due and payable in full because of default on the part of Jerry M. Wilson in complying with the terms of said Deed to Secure Debt and the Note secured thereby. Notice has been given of the intention on the part of the holder of said Deed to Secure Debt and Note to enforce the provisions contained in said Deed to Secure Debt for the collection of attorney's fees. Further, pursuant to O.C.G.A. 44-14-162.2, et seq., Jerry M. Wilson was notified of the holder's intention to proceed with foreclosure against said secured property under the terms and conditions set out in the aforementioned Deed to Secure Debt and Note. The indebtedness remaining in default, the sale will be made for the purpose of applying the proceeds thereof to the payment of the indebtedness secured by the Deed to Secure Debt, accrued interest and expenses of the sale and other sums secured by the Deed to Secure Debt including attorney's fees, and the remainder, if any, shall be applied as provided by law. To the best of the undersigned's knowledge and belief, the property known as Lots 1 and 2, Myers Hill Acres, Phase I, Glynn County, Georgia, is in the possession of Jerry M. Wilson and said property will be sold as the property of Jerry M. Wilson subject to the outstanding ad valorem taxes and easements or restrictions of record, if any.
