INVITATION TO BID RFP NO. 22-006 DUNBAR CREEK WPCF AERATION BASIN NO. 2 PAINTING Sealed bids for ITB No. 22-006 DUNBAR CREEK WPCF AERATION BASIN NO. 2 PAINTING, ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GLYNN COUNTY GEORGIA will be received by the Brunswick-Glynn County Joint Water and Sewer Commission (JWSC) at the JWSC's Office of the Director, 1703 Gloucester Street, Brunswick, Georgia 31520 until 12:00 NOON, EST, Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. This scope of work for this project includes all labor and materials for the interior and exterior cleaning, repair, and repainting of the existing 15' tall, 135' diameter above-ground steel Aeration Basin No. 2 per the Technical Specifications as listed in Exhibit A of the solicitation documents. Bidding documents are available, free of charge, on the JWSC website using the link below: https://www.bgjwsc.org/departments/procurement/ Bidders are encouraged to check the website throughout the solicitation process as all updates will be posted there via addenda. Bidders shall thoroughly review all documentation associated with the solicitation prior to submitting a bid. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held at the Owner's facility located at 601 Palmetto Street, St. Simons Island, GA 31522 on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. EST. Masks will be required, and appropriate social-distancing protocols will be observed on-site by all attendees. Pre-registration for this event is required. Please email pcrosby@bgjwsc.org to register no later than Friday, September 17, 2021, at 12:00 noon EST to confirm your planned attendance. Failure to attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting shall result in the bidder being disqualified from submitting a bid on the Project. The purpose of this meeting is to present and clarify information about the Project and procurement process and respond to any immediate questions that bidders may have about this solicitation. A list of persons in attendance at the pre-bid meeting will be recorded and posted on the Owner's website. For security control and site access, the following information will be required: attendee's full name, phone number, employer's name, work address and phone number. Bidders are required to make their own travel arrangements for the site visit. Owner will provide driving directions to bidders. Questions regarding this solicitation shall be made in writing to the Purchasing Director, Pam Crosby, via email: pcrosby@bgjwsc.org. The deadline for questions is Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. EST. All responses to submitted questions will be issued via Addendum to pre-bid teleconference attendees and posted on the JWSC website for reference. A bid guarantee in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid must accompany each bid. Acceptable forms of bid guarantees are a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Brunswick-Glynn County Joint Water and Sewer Commission. Performance and Payment bonds, each in an amount equal to hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount will be required of the successful Bidder.
