Mr. and Mrs. Skyler Nettles

Gloria Esperanza Sasser and Skyler A.J. Nettles were united in marriage the afternoon of April 22 on family land alongside the Satilla River in Patterson.

The Rev. Randy Lamb officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Glenn and Esperanza Sasser, of Brunswick, and the groom is the son of Neil and Gege Nettles, also of Brunswick.

Given in marriage by her parents, and escorted by her father the bride wore an ivory A-line dress of champagne floral lace with a strapless sweetheart neckline. She chose to keep her bouquet of pink, ivory and champagne colors, forever by using Eco Flower, which uses recycled and sustainable materials such as birch wood, recycled fabric, pine cones, burlap and reclaimed pallet wood.

Ines Sanchez-Nagakane, of Brunswick, was the maid of honor, and Deanna Reinhard, of Brunswick, was the matron of honor.

The bridesmaids were Megan McRae of Brunswick, Colleen Stacer of Atlanta and Katelyn Lott of Augusta.

Lilly Sasser, of Alma, was the flower girl.

The ring-bearers were Dean Sasser, of Douglas, and Dylan Wells, of Savannah.

Logan Nettles, of Brunswick, was the best man.

The groomsmen were Shane Barron, Alex Doke, Nick Sasser and Israel Borup, all of Brunswick.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the same location.

Party Time Productions, of Valdosta, provided music for both the ceremony and reception.

After a honeymoon to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple resides in Brunswick. Mrs. Nettles is employed as a dental hygienist at her father’s dental office in Darien, and Mr. Nettles is employed as a member of the Georgia State Patrol Nighthawks South DUI Task Force.
