Golfers practice on the driving range Monday at Sea Island Golf Club during the lead up to the RSM Classic. The tournament, hosted by Davis Love III, pictured in the foreground, has made more than $7 million in donations to charities in the Golden Isles and across the nation since its inception. Last year’s champion, Mackenzie Hughes, led through the first three rounds in 2016 and won the tournament in a playoff between Camilo Villegas, Blayne Barber, Billy Horschel and Henrik Norlander. The tournament week features a wiffle ball game to raise money for charity today, a pro-am tournament Wednesday and a concert by country music star Jake Owen on Saturday. The first round of the tournament tees off Thursday on the Seaside and Plantation courses on St. Simons Island.
