The Sept. 28 editorial opinion regarding the protesting in the NFL as a political matter and should not be in the NFL is a classic example of the racism that continues in this country. These protests are not political, not about the anthem, not the flag, not about veterans not soldiers. It is about racism. If that makes people upset, they need to assess their beliefs and look at what continues to go on in this country. This is like saying that the poor tea quality was what drove the Boston Tea Party. I don’t imagine they were singing “God save the King” at the same time.
