The Brunswick-Glynn County Joint Water and Sewer Commission will discuss workman’s compensation and a vacant position, among other things, at its Thursday meeting.
A recommendation for renewal of workman’s compensation are up for approval or denial.
Commissioners are scheduled to discuss a new, and still vacant, position of director of operations, a sixth amendment to the utility’s operating agreement with Glynn County and the city of Brunswick, a schedule for a proposed $89 million bond issue, and an update on water treatment plan statistics, among other things.
The JWSC commission will meet at 2 p.m. in the utility’s offices, 1703 Gloucester St. in Brunswick.
