A lengthy undercover drug sting operation involving multiple agencies resulted in two recent arrests, including one man who allegedly was nabbed with $16,000 worth of heroin, Glynn County Police Capt. David Hassler said Thursday.

Tyrone Bradley, 40, was arrested and charged with federal firearms and drug charges following a traffic stop Wednesday by agents federal Drug Enforcement Agency agents, said Hassler, commander of the Glynn Brunswick Narcotics Enforcement Team.

James Bernard Culpepper, 38, was arrested on drug and firearms charges April 5 after law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at 2212 Amherst St. in Brunswick.

Both men remained Thursday in the Glynn County Detention Center.

More arrests are anticipated as a result of this investigation, which involved Glynn County Police, the Glynn County Sheriff’s Office, the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the federal DEA, Hassler said.

Over the course of eight months undercover agents bought large amounts of herion, ecstasy, prescription pills and cocaine from dealers within Glynn County, Hassler said.
