Bodies found on Wolfe Street

Police investigate the scene on Wolfe Street in Brunswick where three bodies were found Sunday.

Brunswick Police discovered three bodies in a home in the 2200 block of Wolfe Street early Sunday afternoon, Capt. Angela Smith said.

Police have not released a cause of death and identifications are being withheld pending notification of next of kin, Smith said.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been called in to assist in the investigation, Smith said. Police discovered the bodies at 1:13 p.m. after responding to a call for a welfare check at the home. Police discovered the bodies upon entering the home. Further details were not available Sunday afternoon.
