The Glynn County Police Department is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest for the shooting that sent a Brunswick man to a Jacksonville hospital in critical condition Sunday.
Gunfire broke out in the 3400 block of Johnston Street around 6 p.m. Sunday evening, resulting Takkie Robertson, 39, of Brunswick, being flown by helicopter to UF Health Shands hospital with several gunshot wounds, according to Glynn County police.
Police said Monday the shooting does not appear to be a random act.
Brunswick police are assisting Glynn County police in the investigation of the shooting that occurred in the county near its border with the city, according to a short press release from the Glynn County Police Department.
