Police say and a man and a woman staying at the Guest Cottages and Suites off of U.S. Highway 341 near Interstate 95 were allegedly dealing in everything from the stimulant methamphetamine to the narcotic painkiller hydrocodone.

Misty Dawn Ditto and Jered Elton Fields were arrested Wednesday in room 308 of Guest Cottages, 150 Venture Drive, said Glynn County Police Capt. David Hassler, who supervises the Glynn-Brunswick Narcotics Enforcement Team. The arrests resulted from an ongoing investigation by the Brunswick-Glynn Narcotics Enforcement Team and the Brunswick Police Department, Hassler said.

Ditto, 41, of Brunswick, and Fields, 32, of Vidalia, also were allegedly selling the stimulant/hallucinogen MDMA, known on the street as Molly or XTC, Hassler said. Ditto and Fields both are charged with the following: Possession of MDMA, hydrocodone, methamphetamine with intent to distribute; possession of the narcotic sedative alprazolam, and four counts each of possession of drug-related objects. The two remained Friday in the Glynn County Detention Center.

The investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to call GBNET Investigator M. Tolly at 912-554-7550.
