Steve Jobe, a teacher at Frederica Academy spoke to Kiwanis about teaching social studies, politics and history. He teaches AP social studies and tries to put some of the social and political issues of today, such as the election of 2016 in a more long term perspective. He encourages his students to speak with a civil tongue about the issues and would like more awareness of the upcoming election of 2018.

The Kiwanis meets at noon on Mondays at the Brunswick Country Club and will have their fundraising golf tournament, Oct.20.
