Michael Scherneck, president and CEO of Southeast Georgia Health System, recently spoke to the Kiwanis Club. Scherneck told club members that emergency care is quicker than in the past, and it serves people whether they can pay or not. Nunnally House, funded by the Nunnally Family, is a new “home away from home” for cancer patients. The hospital has also affiliated with Wolfson Children’s Hospital and works with Baptist Medical Center, both of Jacksonville.
