A standard flower show sponsored by the Glynn County Garden Club Council’s clubs — Blythe Island Garden Club, Magnolia Garden Club, and Urbana Garden Club — will be held from Oct. 31 to Nov. 4 at the local Exchange Club fair.

The show will be open to the public.

The flower show chairman is Pat Ingram and co-chairmen are Sherle Beck and Carol Smith.

The show will be judged by nationally accredited flower show judges. The title, “Farm Life,” will bring back sweet memories of a day at the pond, hay rides, berry picking and a walk through the woods.

The show will include 21 creative floral designs and quality horticulture specimens displayed for attendees to see.

Horticulture entries must be entered between 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 30 with the exception of perishable bloom (Sections A-C annuals, perennials and bulbs types) which may be entered between 8:30 to 10 a.m. Oct. 31 (Sections D-G decorative foliage, trees, shrubs and container grown) must be entered on Oct. 30. Exhibit entries for all divisions must be removed from the showroom between 2 and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 5.

Youth clubs will also enter designs (creative petite designs, collages and horticulture specimens).

Both adults and youth clubs members have worked diligently to make this an outstanding, fun, and educational affair.

Everyone is invited to come, visit and enjoy the magic of life on the farm.
