The Coastal Pines Technical College Cosmetology class visited the city of Brunswick Multipurpose Center. Katherine Ellis, the cosmetology instructor, was invited to speak on nail care and choosing a nail technician wisely. As a community service project, the cosmetology students accompanied their instructor and performed mini manicures on the guests.
Ellis stressed that manicure areas must be disinfected and that certain nail tools should not be used from person to person. Several attendees stated they felt more informed as a consumer from the information shared. For further information about the cosmetology program or utilizing the services, contact Katherine Ellis at firstname.lastname@example.org or 912-262-4990.
