“Cherokee Cottage and who are the Shradys? … Things You May Not Know”.?” a historical program will be presented by Bonnie Householder, the president of the Jekyll Island Arts Association. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Mission Parlor of the Jekyll Presbyterian Community Church, 475 N. Riverview Dr., Jekyll Island. Ample parking is available, and refreshments will be served following her presentation. The program, sponsored by the Friends of Historic Jekyll Island, is free and open to the public.
The Jekyll Squares will hold a square dance open house at 7 p.m. Sept. 28 and will continue until Oct. 5. Each event will be held on a Thursday at the Christian Life Center of the College Place United Methodist Church in Brunswick.
