A boil water advisory for Rosewood Drive and Gatch Lane has been lifted as of Thursday night as announced by a release from the Brunswick-Glynn Joint Water and Sewer Commission on Friday morning.

According to the release, an advisory was lifted at 7:20 p.m. Thursday for the two roads off of Canal Road. All required microbiological testing of water samples from the area affected by the boil water advisory has passed, it reads.

Water to be used for consumption doesn’t need to be boiled, but residents in the area are asked to throw out any stored water or ice made in the 48 hours preceding the all-clear.

The boil water advisory was announced on Wednesday in advance of some maintenance work that needed to be done on the water system services houses in the area.
